Jesuits and ASC

In founding the ASC the Jesuits of the Missouri Province intended to continue reaching out to graduates of Jesuit high schools by inviting them into Ignatian service and spirituality.  The close relationship between ASC volunteers and the Jesuit community affiliated with their school sets the Alum Service Corps apart from other volunteer organizations.

The Jesuit community gathers with the ASC community one evening a week to celebrate Mass and have dinner together. Each ASC community is assigned a Jesuit support person who welcomes the incoming volunteers and meets with them periodically for ongoing support.
